The M-ATV is a high-mobility, high-protection medium tactical vehicle specifically engineered for treacherous environments. It is a Mine Resistant Ambush Protected (MRAP) vehicle that incorporates an independent suspension system to provide durable mobility. The MRAP was designed in response to the destruction of vehicles/crew in Iraq & Afghanistan by land mines. It was first deployed in Afghanistan in 2009. The armor configuration provides survivable crew protection from land mines based on the V-shaped design of the under frame. In addition, the centrally inflated run-flat tires allow the M-ATV to travel at least 30 miles at 30mph even if two tires lose pressure. Kit features complete interior detail, roof mounted turret with M-240 machine gun (which can be operated from the turret itself or remotely from the cabin), 5 rubber tires, photo-etched grills and incredible exterior details. Paint colors needed: Gloss Black, Gloss Red, Gloss Yellow, Silver, Dark Green, Clear Orange, Clear Blue, Khaki Green, Light Gray, Brown, FS33446 Desert Tan, and Tire Black.
