The UAZ-469 was introduced by the USSR in 1973, replacing the earlier GAZ-69. It had two great advantages over its predecessor: It could be driven in virtually any terrain and it was very easy to fix, and reached legendary status for its reliability and off-road handling. The UAZ-469 was used by Soviet and other Warsaw Pact forces, as well as paramilitary units in Eastern Bloc countries. Kit consists of over 240 parts including photo-etched details. Paint colors needed: Metal Black, Flat Black, Russian Green, Blue, Tire Black, Green, and Wood Brown.
